How are you all doing? I could not write a review for last few days because of my exams and they are still on but in some way I felt incomplete not talking to you guys, so thought of sparing some time from my studies and write a review. My 20th birthday was on 22nd and I got soo many gifts and yummy cakes that I was really happy to have such good people in my life. But due to my exams I couldn't celebrate a lot, I just saw Ramleela and went out for dinner. And I totally couldn't forget the cheese fries that I had last night; it was sooo damn yummy and delicious full of gooey cheese. So coming to this one, I picked this as a birthday gift for myself accompanied with many more. Let's further read about this.

What Maybelline says: The next generation of lip balm is born, from Maybelline New York. Adult strength care for baby soft lips in vibrant translucent colours. It is infused with "pure color system" for a translucent bright of color and shine. 6 Hours continuous moisture formula with vitamin E and jojoba oil helps to shed away rough dryness for supple smooth and cushioned lips all day.

Directions: Turn the base 1-2 times for usage. Reapply when lips are exposed to strong sun, wind or cold for maximum protection.

My take on Maybelline Baby Lips Color In Pink Peony SPF 16:

I would start off by saying that I got the perfect tinted lip balm. It has everything that I want, everything desired. I had never heard of this range that something like this also existed. It claims to be the new bright collection along with colour. The packaging is super cute. It looks so cute to be gifted to someone. The lip balm as you all know has a trademark packaging and this one comes in a bright pink colour. It is very handy and fits in the pocket too and looks cute in the closet too. I haven't opened the second packet as it looks so pretty in the cupboard. The inner lip balm is also bright pink in colour and the fragrance is of berries although you can only smell it when you apply it and later on it just lingers a little and then fades off in sometime.

The colour pay-off is really good as it gives a nice pink tint to the lips which looks very sweet and natural on the lips. Although it wouldn't be called as bright but whatever it is I loved the shade and I am happy that I got 2 even without trying it. However this one would not show up on pigmented lips but it gives a nice shine which will look good on everyone. It contains SPF as well and that is the main thing that I needed, the product content is low but for lips it is fine. It is very moisturising and will work great for dry lips too and makes them completely hydrated. It does not last for 6 hours but will last for a time of 3 hours but re-application helps me. I just love this range I have so many of them but will get some more as it hydrates the lips, keeps them from chapping or drying up, gives a nice pink tint and has SPF too. It can be concluded as a full-fledged worthy combo.

-Very cute and attractive outer packaging as well as the packaging of the lips balm
-Handy and will fit in the pockets too
-Gives a nice pink tint which looks very natural and gorgeous
-It contains SPF 16 and that is must
-It helps to repair the dry and chapped lips with continuous use
-Smooth texture so glides like heaven
-Does not feel heavy on lips and lasts for about 3 hours completely and then re-application is needed

Cons of Maybelline Baby Lips Color In Pink Peony SPF 16:

-6 hours claim is not true
-They call it the bright collection but it is not that bright actually
-The pink tint will not show up on pigmented lips

Will I repurchase or recommend?

Hell yes! I mean how can someone even stay without having baby lips. I just love this range and I am sure everyone does. I totally recommend it and will purchase it all my life and this shade is a priority.
